I guess it would be good for us. (if there is a turret ofc) So that when people join the server (non AoF) they would not be allowed to.
Seems kinda silly now that i think of it, since bespin_streets is the only map with an emplaced gun. (i think...)

Just thought I'd bump this up by posting the official change log from Twifire v1000 to the current version:

Command Fix: ammakeadmin supports power set 7 - power7 now loaded properly
General Fix: RAM usage lowered - strings restored to 1KB instead of 2KB
Command Fix: ammap_place random glitches removed - no more sudden unexplained failure of the command ammap_place
Command Add: amsupershield returned - spawn a group-locked shield
Command Add: amsupersentry returned - spawn a powerful group-locked turret
Command Remove: deleted note system (amaddnote,amreadnote,amdeletenote)
Command Add: amblockdeath - prevents /kill and team changes
General Fix: minor bug fixes - many small changes
CVar Add: mc_quietcvars - prevents announcement of CVar changes (EG: "Server: fraglimit changed to 20")
CVar Add: mc_customhelp_{name/desc/info} - cvars to control a custom extra slot in /amhelp

Command Add: amdistance - measures the distance between two map points
Command Fix: amsetrank and amgivecommand unrestricted - no longer locked to player rank (Level 1's can use them on Level 7's)
Command Add: amlightning - causes lightning to strike any map location
Command Add: ammap_search - displays a list of entities within parent set that contain specified information within the trace (EG: {/ammap_search all "fire"} would list effects of env/fire, fire models, etc.)
Command Add: ammap_delent_matching - Replicates ammap_search, but deletes chosen entities.
Command Add: ammap_group_matching - Replicates ammap_search, but sends chosen entity to an entity group (for further manipulation via bygroup_#)
Command Add: amvehicle - places a player in a JKA-Style vehicle
File Add: Folder "vehicles" and all subset files - to define vehicles which /amvehicle can use
CVar Add: mc_newvotesystem - Sets the vote system to wait until the timer is down before passing or failing. When the timer hits 0, it passes if yes votes > no votes, instead of yes votes = half the number of players.
CVar Add: mc_mapvotefix - allows players to vote for any map the server has, not restricting to gametype.
General Fix: 'all' parameter for entity name - /ammap_* commands can now use this to run through every valid entity in the map.
Command Add: /amassassinate - command user 'assassinates' the chosen player.
Entity Add: mc_hurt - this entity is like trigger_hurt, but can be spawned without using a brush model (Twifire in-game mapmodding cannot use brush models)
General Fix: improved SinglePlayer map support - Many locked doors are unlocked. (Doors that lack any default trigger will receive a trigger, 'disabled' triggers are no longer possible.)
Command Add: /amafk - marks you as AFK
CVar Add: mc_afktime - time in seconds before player is automatically AFK'd
CVar Add: mc_afkisdeadtime - time in seconds for a player to be AFK before they are not counted in mc_safemap checks
CVar Add: mc_votedelaytime - time in seconds that players must wait after calling a vote before they may call another. (Admin Permission 'callvote' [7-16] bypasses this)
CVar Add: mc_showflagtime - whether to show the time a player has held the flag before capturing it in CTF
File Add: map_blacklist.cfg - list what maps cannot be callvoted.
RCON Command Add: /mcrename <player> <name> - same as /amrename, but for the server
CVar Add: mc_falltodeathdeath - whether to allow players to use /kill while falling to their death
File Remove: time2.dat - no longer needed
Command Add: /ambaz - The player becomes Baz.
CVar Add: mc_unlagged - enable/disable the "Quake3 Unlagged" system
Command Adjust: amchatcommands now has 'censor' option
CVar Add: mc_fixjumpbug - set to 1 to block a glitch in which player's are able to jump partially through a roof and grab items above the roof.

There is room for THREE MORE.
There are 193 commands in Twifire.
I need command ideas that will use those two slots for 7 total new commands.
Exactly 200 commands total would be freakin' awesome.
(Command data-value is basically the permission for a command. If two commands share a data-value, you can /amgivecommand either one of them and you are automatically allowed to use both) (This is seen in commands like amaddhealth/amsethealth, amplaysound/amplaysound2, amterminator/amunterminator, etc.)

Had idea of this: twifi has various triggers for stuff like teleports, changing speed, add/take credits etc. It has command amplayfx to play chosen effect. I had idea of a trigger for effect.
Like this e.g.: u spawn control panel, spawn a trigger and when u press Use, the trigger will activate the effect and plays it. It hit my thoughts when i was thinking of that twifi has target_speaker but doesnt have *target_playfx* or so

how bout a command amblockchatcommand, so it blocks the player from teleing or using any of the other chat commands.

Also, check the http://mcmonkey4eva.no-ip.org/twifire Twifire website - I added example usages to all the ammap_place items + how to use the new mc_door entity (a fully working .md3 model door!) --- and also how to add an effect like Yoda described above.
Also, /amaddeffect now makes a "mc_effect" and /amaddmodel makes a "mc_model"

Do you know about /amdoemote? It let's you do an emote by number like /amdoemote me 100 - experiment with that a bit, if you find an emote that seems to be a "win celebration" or anything else special, tell me the # and I'll add it./amwin - Emote to celebrate Win.
