New game list

Lets start migrating to other games as well! Here's a potential list of all the games our clan participates in!

JK2
JKA (Possibly when JK2 runs out of juice)
Minecraft
Republic Commando
The Old Republic (Free in October/November, will discuss details below)
SW: Battlefront?
Assassins Creed? (I preordered AC3 for PC)
AVA (I used to play this game, and Its quite good, its a shooter game, find them at ava.ijji.com)

Feel free to make other suggestions.


As for TOR, we have options. We must choose between the Republic, or Empire. We are also not limited to playing as Jedi or Sith classes. Troopers, Agents, Bounty Hunters. Smugglers, we will all be trained as Assassins. We must choose which side we alliance ourself with, as well as what class we will be in advance. Please post comments!

if tor is free permanetly in october/november ill uninstall my potco launcher and add the tor one

The Assassin's Creed multiplayer isn't really set up in a way that can be used for clans and such.
(Don't expand into AC)

JKA will 'run out of juice' not at all long after JK2 does. And they're both half dead already. (JK2 slightly more so)
(Don't try too hard expanding into JKA.)

MineCraft, if more than 1 AoF member (Alta) ever gets it and plays regularly, you could set up an AoF city on my server... and as Alta is an admin there, that'll work out perfectly methinks.
(Definitely expand into MC)

SW:BF 1/2: Meh. Not a extremely fun game to play MP and its lifespan isn't looking much better than JK2's.
(Don't try too hard expanding into SW:BF)

AVA: I haven't played, but the link says it's free... might as well give it a try, eh?
(Try expanding into AVA. Worth a shot if the game's any good.)

TOR: Not my kind of game but AoF could have fun and seriously expand there.
(Definitely expand into TOR)

I wouldn't mind moving to TOR. But as for the others. Not so much. Me and Alta had started in Garry's Mod, but only a few showed interest. If more of you download and play Garry's Mod, I'll get back into it myself. The same thing goes for Team Fortress 2, which is already free to play. I'll get back into that and even help teach newbies how to play it.

Also, TOR: I'm waiting till it becomes F2P before playing it.
And Minecraft: Another thing I have to get before playing.
I'll get into one or the other, or both (if I can).

Garry's Mod is fun for the occasional luls but not for actually playing it often as it's far from complete. Very crappy building system and you can't save anything, and there isn't anything to do BUT build stuff.... so meh.

SPAHAHAHA not a chance in hell. JK2 and JKA have completely different source codes to work from.

If you play JKA, I highly recommend Lugormod, which inspired some of the Twifire mapmodding commands.

From what I've seen, there is no mod in all of JKA that has an admin setup like Twifire, Twimod, DS-Online, or even DCMod.
Admin in JKA... just kinda sucks.

Lugormod has a basic admin system, a basic economy system, and an unneededly complex mapmodding system. (Imagine all the uberadvanced Twiffy commands like ammap_place, but without the simpler ones like amaddmodel..)

Oh well that just seems like too much work!

It is. On the bright side, saving is easy as f**k. (You save the entire map at once, and you can reload it from different files...)

But really if you play JKA, expect a /lot/ of work getting used to the differences.

Although my TF2 offer still remains. If enough people wish to expand (which I see no reason why not, it is free). I'll gladly help teach them how to play, if they are new.
