I put the new JK2MP app file Venge gave me in the existing GameData folder.

This is just the cause of a craptop computer with absolutely no RAM trying to run JK2 right? I did everything right file-operation wise? Excuse my incompetence. I can handle new craptops, but old ones frustrate me because of slowness.

Fun idea:
Go back to the original JK2MP and such, then get the JK2 No CD patch from the first google result of said search. It works, and shouldn't require any extra RAM.

Venge said "replace." I'm confused. Is the reason my game doesn't load because I don't have both patch and JK2MP inside GameData?

The NoCD patch I found on google actually includes a working copy.

Seriously. IGNORE WHAT VENGE SAID, HE IS AN IDIOT. Google "JK2 NoCD patch" and go with the first result there. It works.

I clicked on the first one that came up. It was GameCopyWorld. It had a bunch of lewd ads, I couldn't find ANY button next to the 1.04 or ALL VERSIONS patch that it advertised, AND it popped 5 pop-ups for some LiveJasmin thing that I really did NOT need to see. :/

When you click on the patch title on CopyWorld, it makes you scroll down then next to the title of that patch, there is a floppy icon. Click on that to download.
Skip the ad, download it.
