I think what angel is trying to get at is that we should avoid another baz or kale. I would suggest taking your time with accepting people new to the game or clans. Even if it means delaying their acceptance.

Do remember this game is dying though. What you see is what you got from this point in JK2. There are times of sparks in activity from newcomers / returners. My point being following Leo's, teach him/them, and not just the skill aspects of the game, but the developing a like-able personality. That's one thing clans are for, teaching/learning within a like minded group of people.

Well people are stupid. Most new players can't even be taught the difference of proper and improper etiquette. So taking time to analyze every new player, before we let them in, is a better, not to mention logical process. So I suggest we wait and see if he is active on server. Then we see how he acts, and if he acts discouragingly we try to persuade him other wise. If he is or does get a wonderful personality, then we let him in, if not, he does not.

We cannot just blindly let every newcomer into the clan just because we feel pity over that one person. That would be idiotic a best.

P.S. Enomiss, stay out of the membership (or any other category having to relate to clan business) category. You are not part of the clan, so your vote should not be in here. Unless you know the applicant in extent. Which I am sure you do not.

I don't really see a problem with Enomiss and Revan commenting their thoughts on membership. Obviously, they don't have a vote on the membership, but if we're friends with their clans I think they can share their opinions no problem.

Also, I definitely recommend getting to know Josh better before we make a decision. Making assumptions aren't the best course of action, in my opinion.

1 - All people are welcome in all AoF activity except the top secret ones (which they couldn't go near if they tried)
2 - Let's not let him in, yes - but let's definitely let him play on our server, and definitely try to help him become the type of person we would let in.

If you want an example of someone we let into AoF despite quite a bit of reservations all around, who eventually become a good and relatively respectable member...

tbh I never noticed a change in the way I act now and the way I did then. All I notice is people treat me differently now then they did then.

But lets get off this topic of people in our forums.
