Loadout is fun, yo.

I'm probably about to sound like a walking advertisement, and I apologize for that in advance.

So, Loadout is this third-person shooter that's free-to-play and is very fun, to boot.

Chos and Nick can back me up on this here -we have a blast playing, and I figured that we should get some more members of AoF playing, too.

Loadout is a fast-paced shooter that plays like classic arena shooters (think of Quake). There's tons of mayhem and murder, with interesting game modes that are a blast to play. The game is ridiculous in its humor, too, and that serves to keep things fresh and fun.

Where Loadout really shines is its guns. You can craft your own guns, and there's a whole lot of variety in crafting them. You can have an assault rifle with a boatload of ammo, spooling pulse guns that shock players on hit, rocket launchers that shoot sticky mines, or beam weapons made of pure fire. Or you can have healing guns, and heal yourself and others to make sure you stay alive and the enemy doesn't.

What I like the most, I think,  is that I haven't paid at all, but I can still play well because it's not very pay-to-win oriented. You can pay to look cool, or pay for things to be convenient, but it sure looks to me like I can not pay and still have a blast.

I played it when it came out. It overheated my comp, but I loved it.

It looks fun, but my computer if anything could run on Low settings, and who knows if I'd get lag or not. xP
Perhaps when I start working in May, I'll start saving up on those things.

My computer is not very good, but it runs Loadout just fine on around medium settings.

It's not a very big download...it'd be great if we had more people playing.

Tried this out yesterday, was pretty fun, though since I haven't played a shooter in a while (like years lol) I kinda suck. xD As for graphics, it ran pretty well on Medium for me, though a little lag. So yea don't trust system requirements before actually trying the game is the moral of the story, cuz it said I wouldn't be able to run it. xP

I absolutely sucked at it when I first got it; it took a few matches and a few different weapon configurations to figure out what worked for me. I'm pretty decent at it now.

People are probably going to flip out cuz of this name but: VaderTheWaiter (I thought since Vader inflicts pain into people's lives, so he's serving them pain. >.> lol)

Mine crashed my computer so I'm reinstalling it. If not, then I am fully prepared to accept my damnation to only MC and SWTOR
