>be playing Civ V
>no longer allies with Belgrade
>take opportunity to take vital coastal city state
>declare war on Belgrade
>suddenly multiple city states declare war on me (among them Florence)
>dumbplebians.jpeg
>bombard and annex Belgrade without losing a unit
>go and try to make peace with Florence to prevent them from embarrassing themselves
>in permanent war with Florence
Well ok then.

I annexed Florence and puppeted Edinburgh. Both were in a permanent war with me.
