This topic was very necessary, Avenger. 1000 posts marks the maturation of the clan and shows how far we've come since we were a lowly division of [HACKS].

I'm fine not leading. I just dislike Dudeman leading.
Dudeman once told me he would never lead a clan, and I agreed that it would be horrible... look at him now. Dudeman leading as he said he would never want to do, AoF is as horrible as I thought it would be.

In [HACKS], AoF was part of their own defense and growth.
As their own clan, I'm constantly protecting AoF from lots of deadly s**t and AoF just goes happily about their lives as if it never happened.
You've gone from assassins to citizens.

I'd say that it's usually the people who don't want to lead who are the most qualified, but I don't really think I'm that qualified. I'm just trying to do what's best for the clan. I'm only leading because I love this clan and I want it to get better. Okay, that sounds a bit too noble to be true, so I probably have some sort of self-centered greedy power-hungry evil person in me somewhere. I just like to think it's not a major part of me. >_>

I don't want this to degenerate into a stupid argument we've had for the umpteenth time, and I don't want to resort to petty insults, but there's no polite way to come back at that. I can only say what you've heard from me many times before: Your opinion on leadership issues honestly does not matter to me. That's not to say that you don't have the right to express that opinion, it's just that I don't care about it.

I feel like AoF is better off in some ways and worse off in others since becoming its own clan. I'm glad that you're here to defend the clan against such attacks, but that's what you're paid to do, ya know? xD

Well Monkey the sad truth is that I don't like it any more than you do. But, he is the only leader active, therefore he must take up the mantle of responsibility. Though I don't like it, he is the smartest choice, even though he was essentially leading the clan while Alta WAS active.

And your say is also important in the clan. Dudeman may ignore it, but I will not, and neither will a few others. One spoken word or decision, becuase we are so few, can influence us all greatly. Just be careful which word that is.
