Since this is for gaming suggestion, I have idea for something to play in minecraft
Because 1.8 contains banners, I have idea of playing CTF. We would build a map, lets say something like ctf_bespin with some abyss into the void. There would be two bases with red and blue banner as flags. The flags would be picked by stepping on nearby pressure plate (I read on minecraft wikia that the banners can be put on head using special command, that command could be applied to that pressure plate).
Once you pick up the flag you rush to your home base and scoring by stepping on home pressure plate. If both teams have enemy's flag they wont be able to score until one of flags returns to its base. Each player would have to pick a gear from chests randomly scattered across map, that would random stuff like potions (of swiftness I or II, strength I or II and regeneration I or II), random armor (from leather to possibly diamond, if that would be too much, chain armor would be max, and the armor could be even enchanted but not with too strong enchants), random weapons (wooden to possibly diamond axe/sword, could be enchanted too, bows with arrows, can be enchanted too, and there could be one surprise, somewhere in the map there would be chest with either sharpened or fast arrows - to simulate instagib - or BPG bow with some ammo), and last thing also everyone would start with some food in inventory, lets say 32 cooked chicken.
If you die, and then respawn, your kit/things you had on you will be restored in your inventory, however with flags it might be trickier, but if you have a flag and you die (not by falling to the void) you would drop the flag and someone else would either to auto-pick it on his head (if enemy picks it up) or it would return to home base (if teammate picked it up).
The stuff like potions would be randomly respawning in random chests lets say every 5 minutes.

I don't know if this is too complex, or if it is actually possible, but I decided I give the idea a shot. What you think, peeps?

Thanks <3, when i will have enough time i can start shaping out the map (perhaps with help). Also to the carts races game i have suggestions too, i was testbuilding some with Vad but im now on phone so i post pics of the suggestions later
